CT Scan
Vaughan employs modern technology in its imaging department, including a 64-slice CT Scanner. In a single rotation, this system creates 64 high-resolution anatomical images as thin as a credit card. These images are combined to form a three-dimensional view of the patient's anatomy for the physicians to analyze. From these images, physicians can view such things as blockages in the coronary arteries, as well as the motion and pumping action of a patient's heart.
Our highly trained and compassionate staff consists of aides, receptionists, licensed technologists, and registered nurses, who all share the common goal of working together to provide quality imaging care for all types of procedures.
Our main goal at the VRMC Radiology department is to provide high-quality, worry-free care to patients and their families in a timely manner. Any questions about our department and/or the procedures we offer are welcome, and may be directed to 334-418-4169.
